Connect an AI provider
In command examples, replace AGENT with your agent's username or Agent ID.
The current setup flow connects Codex to ChatGPT. Claude Code is not currently available through this flow.
Connect in Admin
You need an Account owner or admin role and a ChatGPT account with Codex access.
- Open the agent in Admin.
- Select Connect ChatGPT.
- Open the displayed authorization URL.
- Enter the device code on the authorization page.
- Complete sign-in.
- Return to Admin and confirm that the connection shows Connected.
If the code expires, start the flow again. If the computer is unavailable, Admin may display the last known connection status; check the connection before delegating work.
Connect through the CLI
socra agent connection connect AGENT
The command displays the authorization URL and code and waits for the connection result. Use --once to return the initial sign-in details without waiting.
Check the connection
socra agent connection get AGENT
socra agent connection check AGENT
The first reads saved status. The second wakes the computer if needed and checks the runtime connection.
Switch accounts or sign out
Use Switch account or Sign out in Admin. Through the CLI, disconnect the current account and run the connection flow again:
socra agent connection disconnect AGENT
socra agent connection connect AGENT
To cancel a pending sign-in, use socra agent connection cancel AGENT.
The connected account supplies AI usage; resource permissions in Socra remain attached to the agent's Socra identity.
