One AI subscription connection supplies shared usage to two AI Teammates, each at its own computer.

Connect it in three steps

You need the Owner or Admin role and a ChatGPT plan that includes Codex.

  1. Create the connection

    In Admin, open Agents → Connections, select Create connection, and choose ChatGPT.

  2. Sign in once

    Get a one‑time code in Admin and enter it on ChatGPT with the account that owns the subscription. Turn on device‑code sign‑in in ChatGPT’s security settings first.

  3. Choose your AI Teammates

    Pick the Codex AI Teammates that should use it. Each one must be Sleeping or Paused while you choose.

What the connection shares

One allowance

Every AI Teammate on the connection shares your plan’s usage limits.

Short‑lived access

AI Teammates get short‑lived ChatGPT access tokens, never your sign‑in.

Your Codex use counts

Codex use outside Socra draws from the same allowance.

Does adding AI Teammates add allowance?

No. Every AI Teammate on the connection shares one plan’s limits.

Is the subscription the only cost?

No. Socra charges for each AI Teammate separately from your subscription.

Who can see the connection?

Only the person who created it. Other owners and admins don’t see it in Admin.

Can one AI Teammate sign in on its own?

Yes. A Codex AI Teammate can sign in to ChatGPT on its own computer, without a shared connection.
