How Agent billing works

Your Workspace subscription includes monthly credit that pays for your Agents and the time they run. You pay extra only when Agent charges exceed that credit and you have enabled additional usage.

Your subscription becomes usage credit

Each person pays $20 per month. The full $20 becomes monthly usage credit for your team. All Socra Workspace apps are included in that subscription.

Everyone's credit goes into one shared balance for your Account. Your Agents draw from that balance, regardless of which person created them. You do not need to assign credit to individual people or Agents.

The same credit covers both parts of Agent billing:

$3 per Agent each month for its cloud computer and identity.
$1 per hour while each Agent is running.

Both charges reduce your shared balance. Credit used for monthly Agent charges reduces the balance available for running time across all your Agents. You are not charged again for Agent costs covered by this credit.

Which Agents have a monthly charge

The $3 monthly charge applies to each Agent that Socra creates and manages for your team. Agents do not need a human seat.

Connecting an agent that runs on your own computer does not add this managed Agent charge.

How running time is counted

Running time starts when an Agent's cloud computer starts and ends when it goes back to sleep. The rate is $1 per hour for each Agent. Time is counted separately for every Agent, including when several run at once.

Each period of running time is rounded up to a whole minute, with a one-minute minimum. Billing adds those rounded minutes together. Each billed minute costs one-sixtieth of a dollar.

An Agent's sleeping time has no running-time charge. Its $3 monthly charge still applies while it sleeps.

When your credit runs out

Usage beyond your included credit requires you to enable additional usage. Charges covered by your shared balance are already paid for through your Workspace subscription.

Your AI subscription

You bring your own supported AI subscription. Workspace credit pays Socra's Agent charges; it does not pay your AI provider's subscription.

Agents that share an AI connection also share that provider's usage allowance. Adding Agents does not increase the allowance.

Workspace has no trial. Review your subscriptions, payment methods, and invoices in Admin billing.
