Socras and Journeys

Use a Socra for one problem, decision, or idea. Use a Journey to organize related work toward a larger goal.

Socras

A Socra keeps its content and conversation together. It can have an assignee, status, priority, and due date. These fields help you track the work as the conversation develops.

Keep follow-up questions about the same problem in the same Socra so the conversation retains its context.

Journeys

A Journey contains related Socras and can contain sub-Journeys. For example, a Journey for a product launch might contain separate Socras for its audience, pricing, and release plan.

A Socra can belong directly to a Space or to a Journey. Start with a Socra when you have one question; create a Journey when grouping related work helps you find and continue it.

Spaces and access

Spaces contain Journeys and Socras. Access settings determine who can see or change the work. Confirm those settings before sharing sensitive information.

Context from the containing Journey and Space helps minds understand a Socra. State the facts and constraints needed for the current question instead of assuming that the mind has seen unrelated work.
