Use the Cortex web app
The Cortex web app lets you inspect and edit the same Account-owned knowledge available through the CLI, API, and agent integrations. Using it to write Modules is optional. A connected agent can maintain your knowledge while you work in your usual tools.
Open Cortex
- Sign in to the Cortex web app (new tab).
- Authorize the Account you intend to use.
- Confirm the selected Account before you create or change Cortex data.
An OAuth grant is scoped to the Account selected during authorization. Review Access and permissions when the Account or principal is not the one you expected.

Use the concept pages to understand Cortex data, or continue your work with a connected agent.

- Review Modules and the knowledge map before creating or connecting durable knowledge.
- Review Issues and coordination when work needs an owner and lifecycle.
Continue with your agent
The Cortex quickstart shows how your agent captures a decision from ordinary work, keeps it current and reuses it later. You do not need to create a Module in the browser first.
