# Use the web app

Use the Journeys web app to read and edit a Socra, post an update, or ask a mind for help. The Socra's content and its conversation serve different purposes.

## Before you start

You need a Socra Account with access to Journeys and permission to open the work. [Sign in to Journeys](https://journeys.socra.com/login) with the Account that contains your Space.

Before posting, check who can access the Socra. Published content and messages follow the work's access settings.

## Open your work

1. Open the Space that contains your work.
2. Open the Journey containing the Socra, if the Socra belongs to a Journey.
3. Select the Socra you want to continue.

Confirm that the Socra's title and content match the work you intended to open. To start a separate problem, follow [Start your first Socra](/docs/journeys/get-started/first-socra).

## Continue a Socra

Use the editable content for the problem description and the information you want to keep current. Write a message in the separate **Message** input to add an update or continue the conversation.

1. Enter your update or question in **Message**, which shows **Write an update…** when empty.
2. Check the mind selected for the message. To change it, open the mind control and choose a mind. Select **No AI** if you want to post without an AI reply.
3. Select **Send**.

Confirm that the message appears in the conversation. If you selected a mind, read its reply when it arrives. Editing the Socra's content alone does not send a message.

## Recover from a problem

If a message fails to send, preserve your text and check whether it already appears before retrying. If the Socra does not open, confirm the Account and Space, then ask the person who shared it to check your access. See [troubleshooting](/docs/journeys/troubleshooting) for the relevant symptom.
